How To- Cluster Removal
This will spell out the steps to removing your gauge cluster on any Cutlass Ciera. If yours is from 1982-1988, there will be a speedometer cable you will have to remove from the back of the cluster. Otherwise, if you have a 1989-1996 cluster, yours will remove exactly as the video shows. This "How-To" will assist those who are replacing their basic cluster for one with full gauges.

1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera Cruiser Woody Station Wagon Low Miles
Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser In a Woodie this here is a nice little Wagon. . I do all kinds of these Chevy, Oldsmobile, Pontiac & Buick Sedans, Coupe's and Wagons. Station Wagon cars are some of My Favorite. and i have about 20 of them in stock right now. From Wikipedia For 1986, the Delta 88 switched platforms from the GM B platform to the smaller front-wheel drive H platform, with a wheelbase of only 110.8 inches (2,814 mm). The headlights changed from square sealed beam quads to integrated regular/high beam composite lamps in 1987. A few NASCAR teams built racecars with 1986 Delta 88 sheeetmetal and ran them on the circuit in the 86-88 seasons, however only one victory (Terry LaBonte) was scored. The Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera is a mid-size car that was sold from 1982 through 1996 by the Oldsmobile division of General Motors. It shared the front-wheel drive A platform with the very similar Buick Century, Pontiac 6000 and Chevrolet Celebrity; both Olds and Chevy considered using the Celebrity name, which had originally used by Oldsmobile in the 1960s)[1] Available body styles included a 2-door coupe, 4-door sedan, and the Cutlass Ciera Cruiser station wagon. The Cutlass Ciera shared the Cutlass nameplate with the smaller Cutlass Calais and the larger Cutlass Supreme. It shared the same engines and certain interior features with one of its twins: the Buick Century. During its run, the Cutlass Ciera was Oldsmobile's best-selling model.[citation needed] The car enjoyed many factory specialty models including Holiday coupe, GT, pace car,[clarification needed] and International models, the latter of which had a stock body kit. For 1988, the Cutlass Ciera received composite headlamps (Some late 1987 models had composite headlamps as well) and introduced the new International Series models, and was also the final year for the Brougham. The International Series included the emblem with the flags of various countries below the nameplate and was available in all three bodystyles, and came equipped with a standard Buick V6 engine, a 4-speed automatic transmission, a dual Exhaust system, front captain's chairs, and standard power windows. Pontiac 151 "Iron Duke" first start in 10 years, no car.
This is the motor out of a 1979 Chevy monza i used to have a number of years back, i was relocating the motor from storage and decided to see if it still ran. Hooked up a battery, some ignition power, and primed the fuel pump and carb with a splash of fuel and the thing started up and ran just as good as it did then. Sorry about the camera being so far away. Enjoy! the video!

1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Classic Muscle Car for Sale in MI Vanguard Motor Sales
http://www.ClassicCarBuyingSecrets.com Click now for an instant download on "How to Avoid the 7 Deadliest Mistakes of Buying a Classic Car Online"! Here's a cool car all by itself -- the 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Bright metallic blue with a white vinyl top, color matched wheels, a clean interior and a lower price tag than big brother 442s. Not only is the car in great shape but it's affordable and a dream to drive! This 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass is a true classic. The metallic blue paint is beautiful and looks great with the white vinyl top. The pin-striping is very well done and ads a detailed look to the body. The body lines are straight; there isn't a wave or ripple in sight. To be completely honest, I would say the chrome bumpers are in average shape. The body gaps, door and trunk lips and jambs are clean and rust free. Raise the hood and check out the 350ci motor (casting # 395558) and the 350 turbo transmission. The proper shade of Oldsmobile gold paint covers the motor while smooth satin black does the same for the rest of the compartment. The headers have some scale on them, but they are solid. There is a chrome intake, HEI distributor, painted alternator, newer clutch fan, new wiper motor, and a new battery. Up front you will see the rebuilt radiator. Notice that the car was originally equipt with A/C, but there is no compressor now. It would be an easy to get the A/C running if that is something you require in your cruiser. The motor fires up willingly and runs great! Fresh black chassis paint coats the frame and floorboards. The rockers are in great shape, you can still see the spot welds, and there isn't a speck of rust anywhere. There's a new Exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers, and a new gas tank. You'll see new brake lines, new fuel lines and rebuilt springs and air shocks. A 10 bolt posi-traction lives out back. The lower control arms have been boxed in for extra support. 4 wheel drum brakes and 14" BF Goodrich Radial T/A's grace the corners and complete the package. Open up the door and check out the interior of this Cutlass. All of the wood grain detail in the door panels, dash and console really add to the classy feel of this Olds. The carpet, headliner and upholstery are in good shape. In between the bucket seats sits the console and shifter. A trio of aftermarket gauges under the dash keep better tabs on the motor than the stockers while remaining the only non stock item in the interior -- I'm not sure you could ask for more! With its clean finish, neat upgrades, original interior and excellent overall condition this car is a rising star among collectors!
