2012 BMW 650i COUPE - V8 TwinPower Turbo
BMW presents the third generation of the BMW 6 Series Coupe. The vehicle combines the dynamics of a 2+2-seater sports car with touring comfort. The body length and wheelbase 75 millimetres longer than the predecessor model, enhancing seating comfort for rear passengers with a esporty appearance thanks to a 39-millimetre increase in width and 5-millimetre reduction in height. The model will have two engine variants available from launch: BMW 650i Coupe with eight-cylinder powerplant (300 kW/407 hp), BMW 640i Coupe with six-in-line petrol unit (235 kW/320 hp).

Via the Passenger Information Display, the passenger in a BMW Vision ConnectedDrive vehicle can also take advantage of additional functionalities provided by intelligent networking. As a co-pilot he can evaluate information or address details for the navigation system received online and forward them to the driver's instrument panel if necessary. Thus the interaction between the driver and the passenger and networking with the environment reach new levels. The Emotional Browser makes an even more varied and individually-tailored choice of information possible. During the journey, this system captures and filters additional information about the environment through which the vehicle is currently travelling, in terms of people, mood or location. This personal configuration can be set at the start of the journey, but can also be adjusted on the road to be more or less detailed, to suit individual requirements.

http://www.eurocarnews.com - Audi AG - Engine production in Győr already began in late 1993 with pre-series production. The engine plant was officially opened in October 1994. In opening this plant, Audi not only safeguarded its international competitiveness, it also created a strategic base in Hungary that increasingly gained in importance. Győr now produces almost the entire range of Audi engines.
Engine production started with the four-cylinder five-valve engine with a displacement of 1.8 liters, in both naturally aspirated and turbo versions. V6 engines with a displacement of 2.4, 2.7, 2.8, 3.0 and 3.2 liters have also been built at Győr since 1998. The volume production of 4.2-liter eight-cylinder engines was started at the end of 1997. By this time, diesel engines with pump-injector technology were also produced at the Győr site.
The product range was expanded in 2002 with a new generation of engines featuring FSI gasoline direct injection; the connecting rod production line for four-cylinder diesel engines began operation two years later. In April 2006, Audi Hungaria brought a particularly powerful engine onto the market -- the 5.2-liter ten-cylinder gasoline engine with FSI technology. Another milestone followed that same year: The company presented the Audi Valvelift System -- a future-oriented, highly efficient and at the same time surprisingly simple valve-control technology.

HPF BMW Engine Build Project
Was given the opportunity to do a project for the Company where we portray how we are capable of building 1000 RWHP race engines. This is Part 3 of 4 total videos of this project. Please take the opportunity to watch all videos (its a little over 40 mins total of video!) to see my work and learn a little about engine builds hehe.
Shot with the T2i with the 50mm f1.8 lens. Had turn it up to f2.0 in most (if not all) the shots just because the Bokeh overpowered a lot of the scenes. Probably should of went higher in some scenes as well. Edited was done in FCP with a very minor color correction.

Twin Turbo Ferrari Testarossa on Engine Dyno
Twin turbo Ferrari Testarossa on Engine Dyno. The motor is a 4.9L flat 12 which has been upgraded with EFI via a Bigstuff3 PRO SEFI ECM and twin Precision turboturbochargers. At this stage the motor is running 6psi Boost and has no internal modifications. We ran it from 3500rpm to 7500rpm and it produced 650hp and 600lbs*ft of torque. Enjoy!
