Using Body Lead
This video shows how to use body lead instead of bondo. I only had 10 minutes so I put as much as I could that is important. Start with a clean, sanded surface so the tinning butter will bond correctly. This hood was from the 1969 Mustang restoration project from a few years ago. 90% of the body work on that car was done with lead. One you learn how you'll never use bondo again!

1969 MACH ONE Mustang Restoration Part 1 (FOR SALE)
"GERALDINE" $79,999.99 FIRM!!! This video highlights the Restoration of our 1969 MACH ONE 428-Cobrajet Project. This is a true "R" code car! It came equipped with all of the Bells & Whistles, including Air Conditioning and Power Steering, which is underway of installation as I type. This car too has been equipped with a full, 4-wheel disk brake option. This car is special in that when it was ordered, it was equipped with a "Special Paint" Ford # Unknown option. The Marti report finds this to be accurate as does it also reflect in the door data tag. The original owner did not like the two reds that were available that year, (Indian Fire & Candy Apple), so he had a special paint ordered, making this a True, Rare Find, 1 of 1 Car! You simply cannot and will not find another car like this one, "ANYWHERE!" Since this car was indeed a "Special Paint- Ford # Unknown Code," we decided to apply the "Viper Red!" Although any color placed on the car would be technically correct, we liked the Viper! Where possible, every part restored so far has been with NOS or OEM type materials. Although this has made the restoration process much longer, we think it has been well worth it and feel that you will too. The car simply speaks for it's self. "FLAWLESS!" However we would love to answer any questions that you might have... This car will be going up for sale Late-Summer of 2007, but we will certainly entertain any offers that you may wish to make as it sits today. If you would like to come see her in person, we would be willing to set up an appointment with you. As "Geraldine" will go home with only the Premium Bidder, please, only Serious Buyers need contact us. Thanks again for taking a look! James

1973 Mach 1 Mustang Restoration - improved
A short video journey along the 18 months it took us to restore a bent and rusting red wreck into a race car for the World's ultimate tarmac rally - Targa Tasmania. This video is missing a lot, as you can imagine with a complete restoration, but it does contain footage of the day we bought the car right up to the recently completed Targa Wrest Point 2010 tarmac rally - without a crash. We need to recognise John Biggelaar (near Launceston) our amazing restorer, and the boys at Gorringes (in North Hobart), who took on a monumental mechanical task and succeeded. And of course my wife and kids who have shown understanding, tolerance and passion.
