The 2012 Toyota Sienna is one of the most popular minivans on the market today. Minivans are definitely not known for their good looks but Toyota managed to inject a bit of sportiness into the design of the Sienna. Up front the Sienna gets the updated signature grill and fog lights that can be found on other popular Toyota vehicles like the Camry. The 18-inch alloy wheels are also a nice touch. Base price for the 2012 Toyota Sienna is $25,060 and the highest trim level packed with all the features and options you can image costs $40,570. But there are a total of 12 different trims that will meet the needs of most.
The 2012 Toyota Sienna comes with a choice of two engine sizes. The first is a 2.7 liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy for this engine is 19 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway. There is a second larger engine offered. This 3.5 liter V-6 engine makes 266 horsepower and 245 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is actually better than the 4-cylinder at 18 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway. This begs the question of why even bother buying the 4-cylinder?
Unlike SUVs that try to cram a third row in; minivans are designed from the start with passenger comfort in mind. The 2012 Toyota Sienna has plenty of room for passengers both in the second and third rows. Out back the recessed cargo area adds a lot of room and with the seats folded flat and stowed there is a ton more available cargo volume. A great feature on the Toyota Sienna minivan is the large TV screen with wireless headphones.
Toyota has managed to build an impressive minivan. The Sienna rides like a dream and handles bumps with ease. On the inside the passengers are comfortable and the many different seating configurations really add utility to the vehicle. On the outside; Toyota added a bit of aggressiveness which makes the Sienna stand out from the rest of the pack. You are not going to go wrong by picking the 2012 Toyota Sienna as your minivan.

2012 Honda Odyssey Test Drive & Minivan Review

The base model Odyssey Minivan retails for $28,225. The top of the line Odyssey Touring Elite model is $43,675 but comes packed with tons of equipment and technology. There is enough seating for 8 passengers which makes the Odyssey a great bargain for those who need to carry a lot of people. The 2012 Honda Odyssey minivan is powered by a 3.5 liter V-6 engine that produces 248 horsepower and 250 lb-ft. of torque. There is some really cool Honda technology called VCM (variable cylinder management) which can cut the usage from 6 cylinders to 3 or 4 cylinders which aids in fuel economy. The Odyssey gets 19 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway.
The 2012 Honda Odyssey is a wonderful total package if you are in the minivan market. The Odyssey has a good warranty and the resale value for this van is very high meaning it will hold its value well.

The 2012 Nissan Quest has a bold sporty look. It drives as good as it looks. The Quest fits the needs of many families out there. On the inside the seating is very comfortable and Nissan has surpassed many competitors in the layout and finish of the interior pieces and fabrics.
The 2012 Nissan Quest base model starts at $27,750 with the top of the line LE going for $41,350. The van is powered by a 3.5 liter V-6 that makes 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is pretty good at 19 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway.
A couple of great points on the 2012 Nissan Quest are the exciting exterior design, the fuel efficient CVT transmission, a great 11" TV monitor, and a completely flat cargo area with taking the seats out. The 2012 Nissan Quest Van is a great choice and an affordable price.

2012 Toyota Sequoia Test Drive & SUV Video Review

The Sequoia can seat up to 8 passengers, has tons of cargo room, and can tow 6900 lbs. There are 3 models of Sequoia for purchase: the base SR5 costs $40,930, the Limited costs $51,040, and the Platinum costs $58,580. The 2012 Toyota Sequoia comes in either 2WD or 4WD.
There are 2 different engines offered on the Sequoia for the 2012 model year. Them smaller engine can be found on the lower model SUVs. This 4.6 liter V-8 engine makes 310 horsepower and 327 lb-ft. of torque. The larger engine is a 5.7 liter V-8 motor that makes 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft. of torque. Both engine comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy is 14 MPG in the city and 20 MPG on the highway for the smaller 4.6 liter engine and 13 MPG in the city and 18 MPG on the highway for the larger 5.7 liter engine.
On the outside there are a ton of standard features. The bumpers are color matched to the rest of the body. The Sequoia gets standard fog lamps and a chrome grille surround. The stock 18-inch alloy wheels look great but you can upgrade to a set of 20-inch alloy sport wheels which really stand out. The rear liftgate automatically opens and closes. Also the Sequoia comes standard with a roof rack, running boards, and mud guards.
On the inside the Sequoia base model gets cloth seating but the Premium models get leather seats that are power adjustable. The standard radio comes with a CD player, Bluetooth, iPod connection, and Sirius XM Satellite Radio. You can upgrade to a great 12-speaker JBL Synthesis stereo system. There is also a touch-screen navigation unit as an option. As stated earlier the 2012 Toyota Sequoia can seat up to 8 passengers. But there is an option which swaps out the middle row seating with 2 oversized Captains Chairs. The Sequoia also comes with power everything as a standard feature.

What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the Sienna: The Sienna is a great minivan for anybody who looking for a minivan that's safe and reliable. The Sienna offers many great options like HID Headlights, Dual Moonroofs, and Second Row Lounge Seats, however when you load it up with all those options the price can go up very quickly.Power comes from a 3.5 L V6 made into a 6-Speed Automatic. We were very disappointed that Toyota used more hard plastics then soft, attention to detail is very mediocre. Compared to it's competitors the Sienna is still a very great minivan, but we recommend a Honda Odyssey or a Dodge Grand Caravan or Chrysler Town & Country.
