Here you are the new McLaren MP4-12C modified in order to race in the Fia GT3 Championship. The twin turbo V8 engine of the MP4 GT3 produces less power, compared to the road legal car (490 bhp instead of 592 bhp), due to homologation. In the video you can hear the very nice sound of this car with a loud start up, fast fly bys on the track, full throttle accelerations, downshifts with huge flames (1:29; 1:56 - 1:58; 2:59) and more. 2012 Audi R18 Ultra LMP1 SOUND - Test at Monza Circuit
Today I recorded the new Audi R18 Ultra LMP1 during a test day at Monza Circuit, in Italy. Unfortunately I couldn't appreciate how this car is really fast because of the really bad weather conditions. The car is powered by a V6 turbo diesel engine which can produce more than 500 BHP. Horrible crash Brno || Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 BURNS ||
Driver of Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 lost control and bumped into barriers. It was super Trofeo Lamborghini race at Brno circut. Sunday, May 23 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo - Official Statement Following the incident in yesterdays round four of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, after which the race was cancelled, a unanimous decision has been taken by all teams today to cancel the remainder of the weekends racing. The driver of car number 22, Giorgio Bartocci, was taken to hospital following an accident at the start of the first race of the weekend. He remains in intensive care in hospital in Brno, where his condition is currently stable. Rounds four, five and six of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo are therefore officially cancelled. Lamborghini Sesto Elemento £2.3m Hypercar - First time in London
The day the Shmee150 Facebook page reached a giant 20,000 fans (http://www.facebook.com/shmee150) just so happened to coincide with the arrival of a rather special car in London, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. The Sesto Elemento (or 6th Element) was introduced at the 2010 Paris Motorshow as a track going weapon weighing in at just 999kg. It's thought that a total of 20 could be built with a price tag in the €2 million region. The car arrived here where it will be on show in the Lamborghini London dealership in South Kensington, London however it's behind closed doors to the public so it was fantastic to not only see the car again in person but at home. A lot of questions have been asked as to why the car is not started, the explanation is that it had just arrived at London Heathrow from Saudi Arabia. For transit, vehicles must be emptied of fuel and therefore on arrival it would need to be connected to a race pump to re-fuel and there was no time/access to one available, hence the engine could not be run sadly for me filming this! A lot of elements of the Sesto Elemento helped in the development of the new £3.1m Veneno. BMW M3 E46 Roll-over crash in Nürburgring VLN race
I pull the trusty pocketcam out just as the first few drops of rain fall on Wehrseifen. An E46 driver loses control on the entry to the corner, and ends up rolling all the way around. Race was the VLN #2 of 2012 and this was only the second lap of a four-hour event!
