this is my 283 powered nova running a 12.70 pass on 9-20-08 i won my class during this event the cars best to date is 12.53 and thats on mickey sportsmans with a dual plane intake. my buddys wife shot the video kudos!

Engine rebuild part 1
We are rebuilding a GM 350 5.7 engine. Now in this particular case we are also going to upgrade the engine to a 383 6.0 This is called building a "stroker" motor. In other words we are increasing the "stroke" of the engine which increased the torq & horsepower.
If you are able & wanting to rebuild an engine, this video should give you a good overview of what to do. If you are having someone else build an engine for you, you will be able to see what's involved in the process

Who Said I? Racing team from Playas de Tijuana drag race video of Andres's (AKA Pelon) Iroc Z full body pro street car driven to the track Vs Trailered in Chevy nova.. Nova asked to race & lost bad... no traction, Iroc Z started spinning the tires on 3rd gear & had to back of @ half track, almost lost it .. Both cars ran with Nos... still ran 7.20 in the 1/8 mile... Iroc Z runs 6.65 with good traction / wheather

On the first hole of the day at Louisiana Mudfest, Brian Briggs (TheMudbogger79) showers down on that skinny. Unfortunately there was another truck stuck in the path of his roost. While trying to move out of the way, the entire 4-link setup completely cratered when the driver spooled up and dumped the clutch. The aftermath wasn't pretty. Too bad it was the first day!

302 powered chevy nova
it wasnt the fastest thing ever but it was fun, my 302 chevy powered 64 nova, 1st part of the video is back from 05 when i was running 13.00-13.50's the 2nd part of the video is from 2008 and my best was a 12.53 @109 mph. at 1:18 it switches over to 2008. the 1st race form 08 you will see is me vs the red Mustang that was the trophy round. we both redialed i dialed from a 12.70 to a 12.68 and i ended up running a 12.70 the tiny chevy was victorius then the next race was the 20th of septmber i sucked, brokeout 1st round redlit in the 64 car shootout oh well, racing is coming up in may time to go racing again! and no, i dont have slicks in ay of the shots. not bad for running mid 12's with consistent 2.0-2.3 60 foot times WOW!
