New MINI Countryman 2010 Driving
MINI is adding a fourth model to its range with the MINI Countryman, which bridges the gap between the classic concept of the MINI and a modern Sports Activity Vehicle. As the first model in the MINI range with four doors and a wide-opening rear lid, the MINI Countryman, which comes as standard with four seats, provides more space versatility as well as a slightly elevated seating position. The MINI Countryman is entering the market with a choice of three petrol and two diesel engines. The power range extends from 66 kW/90 hp in the MINI One D Countryman to 135 kW/184 hp in the MINI Cooper S Countryman. The 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine in the top model comes for the first time not only with a twin-scroll turbocharger and direct fuel injection, but also with fully variable valve management.
New MINI Coupe Concept Unveils at 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show
The MINI Coupé Concept and the MINI Roadster Concept have made their world debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Further highlights being presented to the public at the show for the first time are the anniversary MINI 50 Mayfair and MINI 50 Camden, announced on the occasion of the MINI United Festival. Both models will be built for a limited period of just one year, their exclusive status being clearly confirmed by special equipment and design features. The broad range of new models is being rounded off by the world debut of the MINI One D. The model features a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine which comes with direct common-rail fuel injection and a turbocharger with variable turbine geometry for optimum development of power at all engine speeds.

Mini Countryman 2010
El nuevo Mini Countryman se ha convertido en el primer modelo de Mini en contar con cuatro puertas y con un portón trasero con un gran ángulo de apertura. Además, tiene los asientos elevados y monta un sistema opcional de tracción total. Monta de serie cuatro asientos, aunque como opción se puede escoger una banqueta trasera con tres asientos, sin coste adicional, y cuenta con maletero con capacidad para 350 litros, 1.750 litros con los asientos plegados. Así, este coche cuenta con un mayor espacio interior y una versatilidad superior. Este modelo estará disponible desde su lanzamiento con tres motores de gasolina y dos diésel. Las mecánicas de gasolina tendrán potencias de 98, 122 y 184 CV, mientras que las motorizaciones diesel desarrollarán potencias de 90 y de 112 CV. Todavía no hay fecha para su lanzamiento, pero lo que sí sabemos es que no será barato.
