This isn't snow that has just fallen like your use to. It's snow that has been on the ground all winter freezing and thawing. You could cut blocks of it out, you can walk on top of it. The Jeep almost drove on top of it. It's like clawing through a solid block of ice.
I didn't put the rear set on because I realized that I didn't have clearance for them between my rock rail and tire. I'll trim it down and try again. Just having them on the front made a significant difference.

The big news concerning the 2012 Jeep Wrangler is the all new Pentastar engine. This 3.6 liter V-6 makes 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque. That is a whole lot more than the outgoing minivan engine which could only muster 202 horsepower. Fuel economy is also improved at 17 MPG in the city and 21 MPG on the highway. Transmission choices are a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic.
The 2012 Jeep Wrangler is all about utility and off road fun. Yes it rides well on the highway but it is when the pavement ends that the Jeep fun begins. The Wrangler is known as a convertible since is features a unique totally open cabin design. The soft top is easy to remove giving you a 360 degree view of the world around. Jeep has been perfecting their off road prowess for over 70 years. The Jeep Wrangler has aggressive angles that give you the best in class approach and departure angles. The suspension features a sway bar that disconnects allowing the wheel to compress further along with locking differentials, and tough shocks.
