2007 Supercharged Cobalt SS
Just bought this car in April 2008, I love it. It was between this and an SRT-4. I'm a Chevy Fan and IMO the Cobalt SS looks better than the SRT-4. Gotta love the Victory Red.

Death of a 2006 Cobalt SS (2.4 L L4 non turbocharged or supercharged)
My 2006 Cobalt SS I had back in 2008. It was a nice ride, all stock and it was pretty quick... Before I hit a tree one night in it doing about 62-70 MPH, that SS meant only one thing.. Super Sport. Now, it's Super Shitty somewhere. I still slap myself for wrecking that like I did doing 70 MPH down a road, 9 PM, and half asleep playing with my radio. When I look up it was too late, I approached a dead deer . By the time I could look up and react by swerving around it, it hit the deer soared about 5 inches off the ground, then when it came back down and I slammed the brakes to try to get it back in line it fishtaled in the gravel and went down a hill into a tree and it all happened in a split second (before I could even react, 'til it was all done). The insurance company said I was doing 62 MPH when the car hit the tree. I had 3 subs in the trunk and the speakerbox(es) was into 20 pieces in the trunk. This Cobalt when I first got it killed a Subaru Outback. He thought he'd be all cool doing like 80 down the 4 lane, I was with my friend and asked him if I should? He said pump it, so I kicked it to Intermediate gear w/ 2 gears combined and 15 seconds later by the time I redlined and switched to overdrive I was passing him around 110-115 bone stock. ;)
