Rims were originally on the back of a semi truck. The driver traded them in for super singles, so I bought all eight. I polished them for my bus, and the extras I polished to sell.

Motorcycle...Polishing aluminum to a chrome like finish
I wanted to chrome polish my frame, swing arm and rims on my 97 yzf600r, but I never polished anything before. I started by polishing a small piece on the bike first and this is how I did it. The end result was pretty nice.. I havn't started the rest yet it, I need a lot more time

Assorted Grit sandpaper ranging from 60 to 600
3M Blade Putty
3M Putty Applicator
Colour Matched Paint (If Required)
Methalated Spirits
Rag
Something I probably should of noted in the video is that before you paint, clean the area with methalated spirts and wipe with a microfibre cloth to ensure that theres no contaminants on the surface before painting

Refinishing beat-up alloy wheels
Last week I bought a beat-up set of wheels to use for snow tires for my 1995 Subaru Legacy.
They had been curbed pretty badly and the clear coat had peeled. In this video, I strip off the bad clearcoat, clean up the wheels, and then prime and paint them.
The final result isn't perfect, but for a total investment of around $50, which includes the wheels and materials, I'm very happy.

Removing protective coating from aluminium wheels with acid
