This is the part 2 video on how to install Dynamat on you hood. This is a great way to both reduce the sound that you hear from the engine and to increase the sound that you hear from your speakers. It also greatly helps to reduce rattles and amplifies bass.

after sound deadener
NOTE: I REALIZE I CALL IT DYNAMAT IN THE VIDEO, IT'S NOT, IT'S FATMAT! I'm a dummy =P
After adding FatMat sound deadener to the ceiling of my 1974 VW Baja Beetle. Now your eardrums hurt when you shut the car doors with the windows rolled up! I forgot to revv the engine in this one =(
Later, we added some to the package tray area of the car, which I'm sure will make even a bigger difference, but we're unable to start up the engine right now due to some bearing damage. Another video later, then!
