GRAB YOUR SMARTPHONE, MANUAL CAR, AND START DRIVING!
Push starting may be more complicated, which is why I suggested jumper cables.
FYI: To push start a car:
1. Find a hill or find a friend/stranger to push the car
2. Put the key to the ON position
3. Push in and hold the clutch pedal while it is in gear (2nd gear might be smoother)
4. Gain momentum either by gravity or friend
5. Let go of the clutch, and the car will be running
The car is a 2000 Honda Civic Si.
I used the Canon 60d dslr w/ Tokina 12-24 f/4 lens.
Sorry for the mess. I was installing an alarm.

How to drive a manual uphill (using e-brake)
It's been probably a year since my very first manual transmission tutorial. Now here's a sequel, manual driving UPHILL! And what makes this even better is that I shot this tutorial on the infamous San Francisco roads with their 45 degree incline!
This tutorial will explain how to accelerate from a complete stop while uphill. The key difference is longer clutch slippage, more gas, and depending on the situation and how experience you are with hills, the good ole e-brake!

How to drive stick shift and get out of first gear ( secret )
Step 1. Have an experienced stick shift driver supervise you.
Step 2. Remember that the clutch has to be in a certain spot so it can move.
(poeple usually mess up and let the clutch go to fast, the reason it turns off is because the clutch gets out of that spot really fast. The clutch is supposed to stay in the spot into the car moves.)
Step 3. Practice moving car with just moving the clutch out slowly. Try to get the clutch into that spot and practice getting into that clutch spot fast so you can be a pro of getting out of first.
