Arctic Trucks' Toyota Hilux pickup truck from BBC Top Gear TV show
Did you see the North Pole episode of BBC's Top Gear TV show? Ever wonder where they get their ideas? Here's behind-the-scenes footage of Arctic Trucks engineering the same Toyota Hilux pickups used by Top Gear for its adventure. The Reykjavik-based Icelandic company prepares the Hilux with special parts such as its 38" tires to cope with extreme conditions. Ford Focus RS500
Brand new footage of the recently announced Ford Focus RS500. This is the predecessor to the original Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 but, where the original car was a Group A motorsport special, limited to 500 cars in order to homologate parts for the touring car teams, this Focus RS500 is simply a limited edition. However, it does get a 350hp 2.5-liter five-cylinder motor, giving it a 0-62mph time of 5.6sec. The FWD chassis remains unchanged from the regular Focus RS, but it gets special badging, gloss black wheels and a 3M matte vinyl wrap over its black paintwork to create a matte black finish. This is an impressive Skoda Fabia WRC filmed at the "Rally di Vallelunga". This car made a lot of loud backfires and some flames! In the video you can also hear the rev limiter and some scenes on the track!!
