The next-generation program is a 10 year vehicle development and manufacturing program, supported by a $275 million co-investment program from the Australian and South Australian Governments.

The event, featured the first left hand drive engineering model vehicles to arrive in Australia, and was the first time the motoring media have seen the Volt as a Holden.
