Ford GT40 and Ford GTX1
These cars were on display at the Orlando International Auto Show at the convention center. The GT40 certainly looks like the famous vehicle that won LeMans several times in the 1960's. I believe I filmed the GTX1 last year at the Winter Park Councours d'Elegance. These cars are indeed in a class by themselves...a reminder of the racing history at Ford.

If only Pontiac had continued building cars like this, the nameplate would still be around. A nice personal luxury car at a moderate price. This one even has automatic temperature control for the air conditioning. I didn't realize it was offered as an option at the time!

Comet really came of age with this car! If Falcon could have the Futura, Comet could have the S22! I'm amazed at the paint job on this car...it's 10 years old, but looks absolutely new! The owner tells me he has the original tires! What a car!
