Beautiful Crown Victoria's Traded in Under the Cash For Clunkers Program in the Junk Yard
Here is a prime example of local goverment wasteful spending! I took a video while I made a trip to the local salvage yard and found these beauties! I only made a video of these 4 cars I saw, but I counted a total of 12 of these Crown Victoria's with the Street Appearance Police Package. All these Crown Vics were in great shape and would have easily fetched more than $3000 at local auctions. Take a look at the 05 CVPI in the Video, this car was mint and had less than 95,000 miles on it. These were all fresh in the salvage yard, and all complete with engines and tranny's. These were all traded in by the local goverment under the Texas Air Check Program, which allows $3000 for each vehicle traded towards a new vehicle replacement. This is a prime example of local wasteful goverment spending! These vehicles could've made a family, or someone a perfectly good vehicle for years to come. These Crown Vics are known to run 300,000 miles with the proper maintence.
