The world has been given its first glimpse of Nissan's ultimate compact crossover: Juke-R.
Unveiled at a Nissan Crossover media launch in Malaga, Spain, Juke-R shocked an unsuspecting audience when it was revealed as a 'surprise guest' at the end of the press conference. Shown for the first time in the metal, Juke-R continues to create a huge reaction, harnessing the bold design of Nissan's provocative Juke with the speed and power of the company's flagship GT-R...... creating the world's fastest, most innovative, crossover.
Highlights - 2011 Tokyo Motor Show
The 42nd Tokyo Motor Show 2011 was held from Friday, December 2 to Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Tokyo Big Sight in Koto-ku.
The 42nd Tokyo Motor Show 2011 (Organizer: Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc.; Chairman: Toshiyuki Shiga), which ran for ten days from December 2 (Friday) to December 11 (Sunday) at Tokyo Big Sight in Ariake, Koto-ku in Tokyo, closed today at 5 PM on a successful note. The show was three days shorter than the previous show, yet the total number of visitors amounted to 842,600, a significant increase of 37% compared to the previous 41st show of 2009. This also came close to the 852,900 visitors for the same number of days (ten days) in the 40th Show in 2007 which was held for 17 days.

New Mercedes-Benz SL
With the completely redeveloped SL, Mercedes-Benz continues a tradition that began 60 years ago.
The letters "SL" have ever since been synonymous with a symbiosis of sportiness, style and comfort -- and with groundbreaking innovations. The new SL has been produced for the first time almost entirely from aluminium and weighs up to 140 kilograms less than its predecessor. Its highly rigid all-aluminium bodyshell provides the basis for agile, sporty handling that has been taken to an entirely new level, coupled with exemplary roll characteristics and ride comfort. Even better driving dynamics come courtesy of the new BlueDIRECT engines; they are more powerful yet at the same time up to 29 per cent more economical than the engines in the outgoing generation. Other new features include the unique FrontBass system, which turns the luxury sports car into a concert hall regardless of whether the top is open or closed, and the highly efficient adaptive windscreen wipe/wash system MAGIC VISION CONTROL; it supplies water from the wiper blade as required and depending on the direction of wipe.
New Pagani Huayra Supercar
The styling of the car was perfected over the course of 5 years to find each line's beginning and end. During this study, eight scale models were created, as well as two 1:1 models, each an evolution of the previous in a never ending quest to perfect the form and refining the substance.
To this date five prototypes have been built which have been conducting road tests for the past 4 years. Currently, over half a million kilometers have been covered by our prototypes and before entering the US market we will have reached one million test kilometers.

The moment has finally come for Juke-R to hit the track! With the build complete, engineers take Juke-R to MIRA proving ground to check all systems work correctly before heading to Silverstone to push the car's limits. It looks like a Juke but sounds like a GT-R, and performs like one on its first circuit tests.

Walk-around, start-up and brutal acceleration of a 690hp strong Nissan GT-R. It was a very friendly owner, who dropped off his wife to get her Golf GTI. He told me it had 690hp, (not the entire gain of 200hp) thanks to the Akrapovic titanium Exhaust system. He did some other mods too to reduce the weight, such as carbon fibre parts all over (hood, roof, trunk, spoiler, mirrors).

New Nissan JUKE-R vs Supercars Dubai STREET CHALLENGE 2012
Nissan has released official footage of a demonstration race in which the Juke-R - the world's fastest crossover - took on and beat three supercars around a specially-constructed circuit at the glamorous Dubai International Marine Club.
The muscular, 485bhp Juke-R made its global debut as the official pace car for the Dubai 24 Hours on January 13and then stayed in Dubai to take on the supercar establishment in their own urban back yard.
At the wheel of the triumphant Juke-R for the demo race was Lucas Ordonez - winner of the inaugural Nissan GT Academy in 2008 and podium finisher in last year's Le Mans 24 Hours.
Taking on the Juke-R around the 0.58km course, which featured the dramatic Dubai skyline on one side and a Monaco-style selection of yachts on the other, were a Lamborghini Gallardo, a Mercedes SLS AMG and a Ferrari 458 Italia.
