Homemade Flatbed on 1984 Chevy K20 3/4 ton
I prefer a flatbed. Picked up an old battered used one on craigslist, modified it, and put it on my truck. Cleaned it up, painted with Eastwood Rust Encapsulator, then painted with Eastwood Extreme Chassis Black. Decked with 2x12 Pressure Treated. Mounted reverse facing floodlights and strobe for plowing. Built drop in sides from old decking 2x6's. Also sandblasted and painted the frame, new brake & fuel lines, rebuild rear & front bakes with new calipers and cylinders. New fuel line to carb. 350 4BBL, TH400, NP208, 16" wheels, 8' fisher plow..
