Auto-Journals.com/Evo magazine's GT-R dynoed with Akrapovic Evolution titanium exhaust system
http://www.auto-journals.com/ Following on from an earlier Dyno run on Surrey Rolling Road's Dyno Dynamics Dyno where it measured 567hp, I replaced the Milltek Y-pipe and stock cat-back system with the Akrapovic system and it measured 591hp with no further remapping! Very impressive gain. www.auto-journals.com

Nissan GT-R and McLaren F1 GTR on track
Supercars on track as evo's long term Nissan GT-R chases a McLaren F1 GTR at Thruxton
This is a video of the (in)famous 'Godzilla 2' Nissan GT-R tackling a damp Thruxton race track during the 2010 Wilton House Supercar Day.
Lightly modified with an Akrapovic titanium Exhaust, Cobb air intake, Injector Dynamics 1000cc/min fuel injectors and a GTC custom remap, Godzilla 2 has been rolling road tested at 612hp/620lb ft and has done a standing mile in 28.0s @ 180.7mph as well as an indicated 205mph on the autobahn.
Whilst this track outing was a bit of fun for participants of the Supercar Day and not a full-on trackday, David Yu had lots of fun mixing it with the Vipers, Corvettes, Porsches and Ferraris out on track, and especially the stunning McLaren F1 GTR race car he catches up with in this vid. Although neither car was being pushed to their respective limits, there is a brief moment of full throttle when the car up front gets out of the way (4:08 min into the vid) and despite David being caught napping in 4th gear, there doesn't appear to be as big a difference in performance as one might expect!
EVO's modified Godzilla Nissan GTR R35
David Yu of www.auto-journals.com and I chat some awful waffle whilst we effortlessly destroy a standard Nissan R35 GTR without really even trying...
This was David's first proper run, and as a regular, I was there to help with where to go on the track.

Auto-Journals.com's GT-R in snow outtake!
http://www.auto-journals.com This was the first attempt at our world famous "GTR in snow" vid. The car actually got stuck on a sloping part of the car park and only engaging "Snow" mode on the transmission got it free. It then gets stuck again, requiring a little reverse and there's an interesting lack of ABS interference when I braked to avoid the large truck that had pulled up behind the cameraman. Moral of the story, if it's snowy/icy you need better tyres as well as AWD...

Ferrari Enzo part 1, night drive to the Col de Vence - evo diaries
Harry Metcalfe, from Evo magazine, recorded a video diary when he was lucky enough to drive Nick Mason's Enzo down to South of France. Sounds like a dream job, until you discover the Enzo wasn't ready to collect from Bob Houghton's workshop near Oxford in the UK until 3pm and the Enzo needed to be on location on the legendary Col de Vence, just above Nice, by 8am the next morning.
That's a drive of over 900 miles; here's how it happened.
