24h Nurburgring 2012 - Highlights!
I have been at the Nurburgring ring last day to visit the 24h of the Nurburgring. It was a great day to never forget! Everywhere around the circuit was a big party with alot of music. I have filmed the start of the 24h from the 3 race classes and some other race shots. Also when it becames dark I have filmed the cars. That was very nice to see with the lights on!

BMW M3 E46 Roll-over crash in Nürburgring VLN race
I pull the trusty pocketcam out just as the first few drops of rain fall on Wehrseifen. An E46 driver loses control on the entry to the corner, and ends up rolling all the way around. Race was the VLN #2 of 2012 and this was only the second lap of a four-hour event!

NURBURGRING-24 Hours Speedhunters team WRT AUDI
The Speedhunters Team WRT will not forget its first time in the "Green Hell". The 24 Hours of the Nürburgring, for its 40th edition, kept all his promises, proving once again to possibly be the toughest race in the world and one of the major motorsports events for the fans. The Belgian squad, for its debut in this very special race, did well, bringing to the finish line the R8 officially entered on this occasion by Speedhunters Team WRT. The final position, 32nd, does not really reflect the potential expressed, as the car was among top contenders for almost half of the race. Unfortunately, it was slowed down twice, by a race incident first and a mechanical intervention later on, two things that are among the predictable events occurring during the long run at the Nordschleife. Most importantly, Edward Sandström, Allan Simonsen, Andrea Piccini and Oliver Jarvis, as well as the entire team, can be proud of the work achieved and of having contributed to Audi's first success in this legendary race, as the R8s of the Phoenix and Mamerow teams took a memorable 1-2 win.

The Nürburgring Nordschleife is the most demanding track in the world, for man and machine, an ordeal that each Pagani has to pass, only one of many in the entire development phase.
The Zonda R serves as the ultimate test bench, a car able to reach acceleration figures and speeds that are not possible with a road car.
This is further underlined by a laptime of 6:47,5 min for the 20,832 km Nordschleife. Driver: Marc Basseng
