Gemballa MIG-U1 - Startup and Driving in Monaco
The Gemballa MIG-U1 is a fairly extraordinary car, it's absolutely unique as a custom version of the Ferrari Enzo (which itself is fairly unique as one of just 399 cars). It was the final car built by Uwe Gemballa himself before he sadly passed away in controversial circumstances in South Africa in 2010. You can read more about this story here: http://bit.ly/ObFTcv The MIG-U1 has it's own website here http://mig-u1.gemballa.com/ but it was originally planned that up to 25 would be made, each of which features an enhanced engine management system and uprated Exhaust to produce a total of 700hp. In any case, this car, which is owned by the Galadari family who run the Exotic Cars dealership in Dubai, was delivered to Monaco for the summer but has only moved on a very limited number of occasions. Thanks to my good friends I had the chance to get the once in a lifetime experience and filmed it to share with all of you. Getting from LA to San Diego on a friday night is an absolute nightmare with gridlock traffic most of the way. Luckily I was driving my friends Maybach which kept us comfortable for the drive there. The owner of Symbolic Motors was extremely generous and waited for our late night arrival to pickup the car. When we got there he had the new Bentley lighting up the beautiful Bugatti. It was truly a surreal experience. Once we sorted through everything that came with the Veyron we started our trip back to Los Angeles. Cannes was one of those places... where I spotted this amazing white and black Porsche Panamera tuned by Fab Design. I guess I kinda like the final result, although I didn't really like the Porsche Panamera in the first place. The extra parts and changes to the line make it that much more agressive, that much more powerful and "mean". Just love it.
