This is to show that the STS turbo system is not affected by water, snow, slush etc. The filter sits in front of the rear tire behind the wheel well and is away from the elements protected bu the factory wheel well cover.
TOYOTA TACOMA STUCK ON BEACH
This driver made the mistake of driving n to close to one of our outflows . When you see a large stream of water on our Peninsula it is the the rain runoff from ditches and lakes . What happens is when the tide goes out the water will gouge out a trough in the loose sand . When the tide comes in it will fill the edges of the trough with loose sand . While it will look hard it is fact mostly water . It has the conistancy of quicksand . If you walk into it you will sink maybe 8 to 10 inches . A car or truck will sink to its frame . This occurs all along our beach . I advise people to not cross these streams at high water and at low water you want to go as far west as you can to cross over . This truck was in quicksand like material 2 hours before he called me . After the tide went out the water drained out of the sand and it was rock hard around his truck .

im doing a little off roading on my 2008 toyota tacoma, i tried to hill climb one hill, but i didnt get enough clearance.

While out on a misadventure in Mclean creek on my Arctic cat 650 H1 quad we stumbled across this toyota tacoma that somebody got too cocky with and the wilderness prove them otherwise. It would seriously suck to own this truck to leave it in the state its at. Oh well stupid people never learn
Supercharged Tacoma
This is a 2007 Tacoma, double cab 4x4 with a TRD Supercharger. The first run was with a passenger, all runs after that were consistent 14.5's
Track conditions weren't so great. DA was 7800 ft!
Launched in 4wd every time and it had not a single chirp. 60ft was 2.0 and its pulls very strong. The tune should help me up top where I need more power!
After the tune and going to a lower track, the truck ran 13.1 @ 102mph with a 1.8 60 ft.
Messing Around with a Stock Tacoma
Nothing impressive, but it will give you an example of how a completely stock Double Cab TRD Off-Road handles this heap of gravel.

Keep in mind I live at 6,500 ft above sea level. everything is warranted for the factory life of the warranty on the truck! when that is up I will have to upgrade the intake and pulley!!!
