This is the little Jeep engine that could... run. It came from a complete, running 1956 Willy's Jeep that I purchased for a Rock Crawler Build, and now it's time for this little gem to complete somebody's all original restoration. The gentleman that I purchased this Jeep from told me that it used to belong to the local water utility company, and had received full maintenance -including a rebuild- before he bought it. In legal terms, that's just hearsay, but from the way it looks to me, it does look like this motor was at least disassembled and repainted within a few years. All you need to do is hook up the four wires from your original wiring harness, connect the fuel hose to your tank, and BAM: You're off and running. Not only do you get the compete turnkey engine with generator, ignition, carburetor, fuel pump, air hat, air cleaner, and sensors, you also get a manual water temperature gauge in the bargain. Let's talk shipping. This motor is close to 550 pounds -275 kg. for you Metric People out there- and is sitting in a fork lift shipping crate which weighs close to 200 pounds, or 100 kilos, for a grand total of 375 Kilos.
