For auction is a pair of vintage Hella TR2 SAE R-66 thick glass fog lights-back up lights for various vehicles like Porsche and Volkswagen. The glass is embossed Hella G-100927 Made in Germany SAE R66, the top side reads “top” along with TR2. These were found in an old estate so I have zero history on them. The chrome plated cases seem to be very solid, they don’t appear to be “rusted out”. Both glasses appear to be solid, I don’t see any cracks or major damage. The brackets have some rust and the light bodies have a little. The wiring hardware has rust as well. The bodies mainly just have chrome finish loss and discoloration. I’m sure both will need to be refinished, new wiring and bulbs. Both need a lot of work but are solid with good “bones”. Overall decent used pair!
