so that the common problem with the gear shifter can be corrected, and prevented from re-occurring.
If you are no longer able to remove the keys from the ignition - and have to leave them in the car,
or if you no longer able to shift the gears between park and drive-
most likely the gear shifter knob has sustained damages to the release button inside.
This condition can be easily corrected.
You do not have to pay $500.+ to have the entire gear shifter assembly replaced.
