The Supermax UHP-1 is a performance and high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The special tread design and the durable compound enable the model's excellent high-speed performance. This asymmetric tread design keeps constant road contact, which boosts steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the steering response is quicker and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the pressure affecting it. On the other hand, the strong construction maintains the ideal tire shape under high speed pressure and does not allow the tire to deform. At the same time, the silica compound prevents heat build-up along the tread area at high speeds. These elements work together to guarantee a safe high speed performance.
Excellent all season performance is promoted with this tread design and all season compound. In this manner, the asymmetric tread design closely grips the road surface with the use of extra biting edges and increases traction in dry, wet, and winter conditions. At the same time, the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in hot and cold temperatures. Wide grooves boost hydroplaning resistance. These grooves eliminate water and slush from below the footprint and protect the tire during wet weather conditions.
The ideal rubber compound and the asymmetric tread design offer a fuel-efficient performance. This model significantly lowers the rolling resistance to reduce the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
