NOTE: Missing 2-pin brownwire connector
On this replacement unitthere are 4 connectors. On the original unit there are 5 connectors, the 5thone is a 2-pin brown wire connector that is attached to the original flashermotor. The replacement unit does not have this 2-pin brown wire connectorbecause it is no longer needed. On the car harness side, this connector shouldbe wrapped up using electrical tape.
The two-pin connector wasused to feed power to the motor, after the turn signal switch is shut off, to drivethe motor around to the start position so when the next time the motor isactivated the sequencing would start at the inner most light. The replacementunit does not have a motor so this connection is not necessary. The replacementunit, when the turn signal is switch is shut off, has a built-in circuit thatresets the system to start at the inner most light.
