XJ Storage! A great bag for trhat cubby hole in the side of the cargo area
This is a bag that I designed for the Jeep Cherokee XJ and it fits that cubby hole in the back. The bag is around 4" deep and comes with a mesh pocket on the front with a 1" dee ring. Constructed with polyester and lined with foam. Lots of options to keep items such as clothing, first aid supplies, etc. MRE's fit right on thje bottom/ Another option is to put a plate across that area but the bag will hold more, and you will probably not have to listen to an annoying rattle, rattle.
This attaches with hidden screws which goes through grommets inside the bag. This is a secure method and will last a long time. A velcro option will not work and the sticky velcro does not attach to the surface for a length of time.
Please note that when you receive the bag it will look crooked. This is because it is made to fit in the cubby hole which itself is not straight.
Update- Now XJ bags come with a loop molle patch on the front just like the military uses on uniforms to attach or remove a patch. Now you can put on a patch with a hook backing (patch not included) such as a state, national park, a service or club patch and so on.
