Installation Steps
Installation of the Snorkel:
- It is recommended to first compare the main tube with the vehicle body to confirm whether the angle matches when installing the wading hose.
- Please make sure to check the accuracy of the hole positions on the cardboard. The cardboard is produced through mass printing, which inevitably leads to errors. The proofreading method is to press the cardboard tightly against the inner side of the snorkel head,check whether the interface and screw hole positions are consistent with the card positions shown on the cardboard. If they are not consistent, please redraw the correct hole positions.
- After identifying the installation angle and position, please use a cardboard to firmly adhere to the body and confirm the punching position. Please make sure to confirm the specific position of the hole before drilling.
- After connecting the screws on the pipe, directly insert them into the drilled holes on the vehicle body and fix them with bolts from the inside of the vehicle body.
- Fix the pillar with rivets and prepared fixing iron parts.
- Put the elbow or sand collecting cup directly on it and lock it with a clamp. This installation and replacement are both convenient.
- The above process can be followed regardless of vehicle type, left or right.
Connect the Air Inlet:
1. Use the complete hoses or auxiliary pipes and accessories to connect the pipes and air intake.
2. Many of the hoses in the accessories cannot be used when installing wading hoses on non-specializedvehicles, and you need to configure different sizes and lengths of hoses according to different models.
