Up for your consideration is a brand new X profile Viton o ring seal for your Saab 9-3 or 9-5 engine oil level sensor. As you know, the level sensor is a common leak point on the both the 2.0L Turbo b207 4 cylinder and 2.8L Turbo b284 6 cylinder engines. GM and Saab/Orio only offer the complete sensor assembly with integrated seal to resolve this leak. With this replacement seal, you can simply fit a new o ring to your existing sensor harness and refit to the oil pan.
This is a special X profile seal to create two contact points against the oil pan. Viton ensures a lifetime, worry free future once replaced to provide an indefinite seal for temperatures up to 400°F, far higher than your engine oil temperature.
Please note again, this is not a listing for the complete sensor, just the seal which slides over the harness.
