The SSRA Mega Mouth is for cars without the air conditioning condenser. It flows significantly more air than the competition. It is made of Polypropylene plastic. Competitors kits are made of metal and have you cut up the cars hood latch to install. The competitorskits mount up flush up against the radiator. This increases your cars operating temperatures because no air can pass through behind it. The Mega Mouth is designed to allow air pass behind it with ½ tabs that keep it off the radiator. This allows air to pass into the radiator behind it, keeping your car cooler.Like all other SSRA kits, the Mega Mouth kit is laser cut and plastic welded. Competitor’s kits use rivets and duct tape for a very unprofessional appearance and construction.
The Mega Mouth kit comes with all the weather stripping needed to seal it to the air filter and lid assembly.
