About CENCORE

All Cross-Drilled Brake Rotors are precision-machined and finished in our facility. Every rotor is inspected using the strictest quality control standards and checked for compliance with factory dimensional specifications.

Our rotors are manufactured from premium-quality cast iron that meets or exceeds TS16949/QS9000 specifications. Each rotor is double-disc ground and machine-mill balanced for optimal high-performance operation. We are so confident about the quality of our products that we offer the best warranty anywhere!

Each Cross-Drilled hole is perfectly sized to allow for maximum ventilation without structurally weakening the brake rotors. Cross-Drilled Holes move air from the pad surface whilst reducing surface temperature, eliminating hot spots and warping. Each drilled hole is chamfered to eliminate stress cracks, as well as to provide long-lasting performance.

Production Technology Classic Anti-rust Oil Surface Treatments

It is the best way for rotors surface, reliable, safe and environmental, effectivly extend the driving time, and it is an extensive hand-applied operation that is not sprayed on like inferior coatings. Each Performance Brake Rotor is immersed in different solution tanks throughout the coating process. The final result is a thick protective coating that will help prevent rusting and give you a great custom look.

Guaranteed Fit And Installation

Brake Performance Cross-Drilled Brake Rotors are machined to the same fit and dimensions as your factory brake rotors. You can install them with no worries about factory fit or function. We recommend that you have a certified mechanic install them for proper break-in procedure. If you have any questions or need assistance choosing the correct brake rotor for your vehicle, call our brake experts toll-free at [phone removed by eBay].

Vehicle Recommendations

Cross-Drilled Brake Rotors are ideal for all domestic and foreign light, medium and heavy-duty Cars, Trucks, and SUVs, as well as any vehicles that require improved braking performance. See our comparison chart for application advantages between the different types of rotors.

Common Malfumtion Analysis And Solution

Incorrect Installation

Malfunction: Brake disc installation holes were cracked. The fastening sequence was incorrect and the fastening force was uneven between installation points. Vibration occurred when braking.

Solution: Replace brake discs in a timely manner. Use a proper and even amount of force to fasten brake discs following the correct sequence.

Malfunction: Mechanical stress occurred due to improper centers when brake discs were installed. Improper installation and location between caliper and brake disc led to persistent asymmetric wear on brake pads which resulted in tremendous noise and heavy vibration.

Solution: Check the brake system and related parts thoroughly. Replace all parts with problems and install new brake discs. Before installing brake discs please inspect all aspects carefully, especially the installation location of the caliper in the hub.

Malfunction: If the surface of hub is dirty or rusted, the dirt or rusted will cause deviation when the brake disc is being installed. In this situation, asymmetric abrasion will be caused by irregular contact between brake disc and brake pad, which will lead to abnormal noise or vibration.

Solution: Clean installation surface and wheel hub after taking off brake discs and then re-install them.

Malfunction: Braking calipers got locked. One side of the brake pad rubbed against the brake disc continuously, causing wear up to the metal backboard. The side on which metal backboards and brake discs rubs was seriously worn, while on the other side both brake pads and disc were mostly new.

Solution: Please check, replace or repair the braking caliper. Braking pads and discs should be replaced as necessary.

Problems with Related Parts/Systems

Malfunction: Due to excessive hub run out, brake discs and pads had uneven contact which led to excessive shaking. This can also cause local heating and blue marks appearing on the braking surface.

Solution: Adjust the hub run out and make sure it is within tolerance.

Malfunction: Brake disc were scratched by pads of poor quality or other outside objects.

Solution: Replace brake pads and brake discs.

Malfunction: When the installed brake pad(s) was of poor quality and some foreign material from brake pads fell on to the brake disc surface, it will cause the braking surface to be dirty. It can also lead to a decrease in stopping power and vibration in some cases. When inspecting the brake disc one can see that the brake pad impression left of the disc has an uneven edge.

Solution: Install brake pads of better quality.

Excessive Heat on Brake Disc or Excessive Braking

Malfunction: Braking frequently caused blue spots appearing in a radial direction on the braking surface. This kind of change indicated that the material composing braking discs surface had hardened and brittle. It will cause abnormal noise and vibration to easily occur.

Solution: Please replace braking disc and avoid hard or excessive braking, it\'s suggested that drivers who excessively braking should release or ease off the gas pedal at an earlier distance to slow their vehicle down before braking.

Malfunction: For newly replaces brake discs, braking hard when the surface is not fitted very well could easily cause different brightness and colors on the surface of the brake disc. Surfaces with changed color have lower friction force and can easily cause vibrations after continued use.

Solution: Replace brake disc, after installing a brake disc, it\'s better to avoid braking suddenly at high speed or frequently braking at first.

Abnormal Abrasion

Malfunction: The thickness of braking surface was less than the mini thickness required by manufacturer(generally 1mm less for each side), which meant the brake disc was in excess of the limits of fair use. In this situation, the braking power of the brake discs cannot meet requirements either.

Solution: Replace brake discs and check the brake system. Replace other products which have already exceeded their suggested usage time.

Malfunction: When brake pads were seriously or completely worn, the backing plated on the brake pads made contact with the brake discs (metal to metal), damaging the surface of the brake discs. This can cause the overall braking effectiveness, particularly braking power and braking distance, to be below normal. In some cases that is also abnormal noise.

Solution: Please replace brake discs and brake pads. Under regular use conditions, please confirm that the indicator of excessive wear on the brake pads works well.
