This item is an extremely rare intake Offenhauser dual port intake manifold for a ford 260, 289, 302 or 5.0 engine.
The intake has been on a vehicle that was stored for many year, the intake was run for less than 1,000 miles.
The intake has been glass bead blasted and coated with a high temp cast coat aluminum which is good to 500 degrees and resistant to gas and oil, this will keep the intake manifold looking great for many years to come.
This is the extremely rare dual port version that has not been made in I believe around 40 years as this is classic muscle car.

This is the extremely rare dual port version, which is designed to increase fuel mileage, because the intake ports are a split port design, as the fuel and air from primaries are totally separated from the fuel and air from the secondaries.
I have used these dual port intakes many times myself and have benefited from increased fuel economy without any decrease in horsepower. These are a very rare and very searched for intake manifold. I really doubt that you will every find another one that is in this nice of condition.

This combines a combination of unrestricted fuel and air flowwith a divided plenum, thismeans no flat spots throughout the entire rpm range.
The equal fuel flow to each cylinder increases horsepower and torque, and evens out individual cylinder temperatures.
Power bands start at 1,800 rpm with a small carburetor andit can flowall the way to 8,800 rpm with a higher flowing carburetor.
