If you have a leaky or inoperable spoiler hydraulic system on your 996TT, this is the perfect solution for you.
This kit replaces the need for your spoiler hydraulic system. It enables your spoiler to be manually adjusted to any height as shown in the photos. It requires minimal mechanical knowledge and/or ability. Installation requires use ofcommon toolsand takesabout30 minutes. Installation requires no drilling or any irreversible modification. Most of the installation time is removing thehydraulic pump and lines (goodbye unnecessary weight).
The last picture shows what the kit looks like under your decklid. Outside the decklid remains 100% stock. 

Kit includes parts for both left and right side hydraulic rams.

The kit is admittedly simple and cannot be seen once installed. That\'s why I don\'t post pictures of the kit itself. However, it works and works effectively, while maintaining a 100% stock look. I have made fixing your spoiler simple for you.

Kit comes with full instructions on how to install it onto your vehicle, including instructions on how to eliminate your \"Failure Spoiler Control\" message. This is the most economical and easiest way to permanently fix you spoiler. I am a mechanical engineer and couldn\'t bear to spend a fortune to fix mine.

This kit uses your existing rams, but replaces the hydraulic system with a mechanical one that is adjusted manually under the decklid. It works like a ball-screw. Once installed initially, manual height adjustment takes less than a minute. Most people install it at full height and leave it there.
I thought there had to be a way to reseal the hydraulics without buying new hydraulic rams. There isn\'t. The seal is inside of a three piece pressed together part. Terrible design, and one that typically requires an expensive repair.
I can also tell you that if you see oil leaking from the bottom of your ram, it has been leaking for quite some time. Once past the faulty seal, the oil has a labyrinth to navigate before exiting through the bottom of the plastic cap.
Included will also be instructions on how to remove your spoiler/wing, even if it is stuck in the down position.
