We receive emails with buyers constantly telling us how much money we saved them with this product!This is a replacement flex section with flange for all 2005-2012 Chevy Cobalts, Saturn Ion's, Pontiac G5's and Chevy HHR's with the 2.2L engine. If you have the 2.4L you can view our other auctions to find that.We typically sell performance downpipes, but this is for people who broke their stock flex section which is very common on these cars and have a stock car who just want to keep their car in stock form. The stock flex is junk which is guaranteed to break from the factory especially if it is a manual transmission car and instead of forcing people to buy an entire downpipe like the dealer would make you do for over $350 to $400 you can take this piece to an exhaust shop and have them cut off the old flex section and weld this into your existing downpipe so you can retain your factory catalytic converter. You may see some others sell something similar, but as you can tell from the picture we have a higher quality flex section. We use interlock stainless flexes. Which is why we are showing you the picture of what the flex looks like from the inside. Others are using a cheap flex where the inside looks the same as the outside which is a weak braid. Our interlock section is super strong where it won't break. Basically nobody will have a better flex section period. Plus we also include an OEM style gasket which is a $12 value free!
This includes a one piece flange, 2" piping, interlock flex section and we'll throw in an OEM style gasket.
