Where is my Turbo part number?
Partnumbers are found usually on the compressor (Aluminum) housing, or on thecenter section of the turbo, which is machined, flat, or on a metal tag. If youcannot locate it, please contact us and we will help you identify it.
Important Information before fitting your new CHRA or Turbo:
Turbochargersare very reliable indeed.Of all Turbocharger failures, very few are the fault of theturbo itself, but in fact caused by outside influence. These are the mostcommon causes of consequential failure (NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY):
- Oil starvation: A blocked or restricted oil feed pipe, damaged oil pump, low oil level
- Oil contamination: Metal particles or carbon from poor servicing or faulty DPF filters, EGR valves etc
- Over speeding: Boost pipe work, holed intercooler, jammed VNT, Remap
- Impact damage: Faulty air filter, remains of past Turbo failure, Swirl flap failure etc.
Beforefitting the new part, youMUSTfirstfind the reason why you’re Turbofailed and correct it.Simply fitting a new CHRA in most instances will only resultin re-occurrence of the failure.Parts must be installed by aqualified mechanic, and the supplied installation instructions followed infull.We compile installation instructions with our many years of experiencein the Turbo industry and our knowledge on Turbocharger failures and theircauses.Failing to follow the instructions in full could result inan expensive failure.
Warranty
AllNew Turbochargers and CHRAs we supply come with a 12 months warranty.Warrantycovers the part supplied only and does not cover labor recovery, accommodation,or any other costs whatsoever.In the unlikely event of an issue,CHRA must be return for a detailed warranty inspection to be completed.Youmost contact us before sending any warranty parts, so that we can provide all necessarydocumentation and instructions.An inspection fee of $50 USD ispayable up front prior to inspection which is refundable if unit is found tohave failed due to a manufacturing defect.If failure is found NOT to be due tomanufacturing defect, but instead due to outside influence, then inspection feewill not be refundable, as this will be to cover inspection cost.
Returns
Returnsare accepted up to 14 days from the date you receive your Part.Returnsmust be completed via the eBay returns service.Wecannot accept used or damaged returns or incomplete returns.Allserial numbers must match those supplied and the client is responsible for allshipping costs.
