You are bidding on a Pair of Brand New Southwest Speed Ceramic Hot Coated Long Tube Headers that fits 1965-1974 Chevy Passenger Cars with Big Block Chevy 396-454ci Engines (SWS Part #440-2400).
These Southwest Speed long tube headers are a direct fit for 1965-1974 Chevy passenger cars with Big Block Chevy V-8 engines, and will work with both automatic & manual transmissions. These headers are a chassis header and are meant to go inside of the frame rails on 1965-1974 Chevrolet Chassis. The collectors exit toward the rear of the engine compartment and are well above the under carriage of the vehicle, eliminating the chance of the collectors contacting the ground. The unique design of the collector location makes these headers a great choice for many GM passenger cars that include: 1965-1970 Bel Air, Biscayne, & Impala, 1967-1969 Camaro, and 1968-1974 Nova with Big Block Chevy Engines. Original Big Block frame stands and motor mounts must be used to insure proper engine location and header fit. Ground parallel with .380" flanges on the cylinder head surface with 2" primary tubes, & feature 3-1/2" collectors and are supplied with 2-1/2" reducers that bolt to the collectors, to connect the rest of the exhaust system to the vehicle. Sold complete with header bolts and gaskets, and reducer bolts and gaskets. These Headers will fit angle plug or straight plug heads, and no spark plug or spark plug wire restrictions.
Ceramic Hot Coating (CHC) is a heat resistant, ceramic coating applied to the outside of the header. This coating will reflect heat, which helps retain more heat within the header tube, while simultaneously speeding up the exhaust flow. Not only will this coating help you make more horsepower, it also keeps your headers rust-free, looking great, and lasting longer (when properly maintained). If you are looking for a quality finish for your headers, this is it. Good to 1300 degrees.

Ceramic Hot Coating Warning:
Warning: CHC coatings will burn and be damaged at exhaust temperatures over 1300 degrees. A lean fuel mixture can generate exhaust temperatures exceeding 1700-1900 degrees. If the coating is damaged due to a lean condition, the coating will not be warranted, but can be recoated for a fee. No warranty or returns on Ceramic Hot Coated exhaust items once they have been installed.
Header Return Policy:
Please refer to the header measurement chart below to make sure the header will fit your vehicle and application before ordering. In the event you order a header that will not fit your vehicle and application, you may return them for a refund, providing you don't damage the header. When you receive the header the finish will be protected and must remain unscratched for a refund. If you bend or dimple any of the tubes or scratch the finish, we will not be able to sell the header and will not be able to process a refund. Use care when trial fitting headers. Repack them well to prevent damage returning them to us. We won't process refunds for scratched, dimpled, dented, or bent headers.
