A great bag for that cubby hole in the side of the cargo area
This isabag that I designed for the Jeep Cherokee XJ. It fits that cubby hole that is in the back. It attaches by 3 pieces of2" Velcro strips and 3 matching pieces withanadhesive back thatare included to place in your vehicle. The Velcro that comes is both industrial grade and the extreme grade. (instructions included).The bag is around 4" deep, comes with a mesh pocket in the front along with a 1" dee ring. Constructed with grey Cordura this great bag in also lined with foam backed polyester on the inside. Lots of options to keep items such as clothing, first aid supplies, etc. Another great option are MRE's they happen to fit the bottom of the bag just right, also Mountain House has these new cans of freeze dried foods that are the small can. They too fit right in.
Winter time installation- If you don't follow these simple instructions the Velcro tape will not work!
The application must be made at 50 degrees or above for 24 hours. Apply the tape on the vehicle after cleaning the area and letting it dry. Leave the bag alone for 24 hours, this is so the adhesive can set.There are no shortcuts to this, no hair dryers, no heat guns that will just bleed the adhesive from the tape and it will become useless. My own XJ has had the Velcro strips on for well over2 years. The Velcro I use is Scotch Extreme, the next grade is red backedpermanent (VHB)when you want to take that one off you have to cut it with fish line. I don't think anyone wants that. I have called 3M several times. A new option is to screw the unit right in the vehicle with supplied screws. These will be hidden from view and hold well.
