Jaguar Sepang BBS Factory 20x9 et49 2-piece alloys -SILVER COLOR
This is a fully restored set of wheels that is spectacular!. These are unique because they arepowdercoated with a silver color very close to the stock Sepang metallic silver color, in addition to the lip being restored to mirror polished finish.
- Factory Jaguar XJR 20" 2-piece wheels.
- BBS part #RT226
- Size = 20x9 (all 4 rims).
- Offset = 49mm.
- Lug spacing is 5 on 108mm.
- Center bore =63.4 mm
- Fully Restored.
- This included professionally trueing a flat spot (bend)on the back barrel of one wheel and repairing some curb rash on one portion of one lip. All 4 wheels spin straight and true. Thebarrel was professionally repaired so it spins true. There are some marks on the back barrel lip, as shown in one photo.
- One portion of one lip had some curb rash which was repaired by welding and shaping the lip. See one photo showing a slight color difference in the polished surface in the affected area.
- The outer lips were then stripped and mirror polished using high speed polishing equipment and the correct compounds. The back barrels were polished to a shiny satin finish using the same equipment and processes.
- The center sections were chemically stripped and then lightly media blasted prior to power-coating themwith silver metallic high end resin followed by a clear powdercoat. The critical wheel mounting surface was not coated so the wheels will mount metal to metal as they should.
- The wheels were then reassembled using the original hardware (Titanium bolts) that wascleaned up and hand polished, tightening each threaded BBS bolt to 18 ft-lbs. Each bolt was installed usingmedium strength thread locking compound as an additional measure to insure the bolts to not vibrate loose.
- What you end up with is a properly restored and assembled set of wheels. I have included at least one photo of each wheel to see the quality of the refinish job. Note the powdercoat looks wet and has minimal orange-peal finish, indicating a proper powdercoat job.There are no flaws I can find.
- I have spun eachwheel on a balancer and verified that it is trued and straight.
- Includesa very goodusedJaguar center caps.
- The buyer will need to purchase some mag-style lug nuts/bolts to mount this set to their Jaguar or other car.
