Golf R32 VR6 6 speed 02M gearbox conversion for 2WD front-wheel drive
With our conversion kit the 6-speed 02M gearbox can be mounted on all front-wheel 2WD drive vehicles. 6 speed gearbox is significantly more stable than the 02A or O2J 5 speed gearbox already present of 2WD vehicles.
Installation:
The transfer case is removed and instead screwed our plate at the original mounting points 4 of the transfer case, the oil lines are closed by the sealing rings supplied.
The conversion plate is screwed on to the original gear box mounting points. The oil lines are closed by the sealing rings provided.
TIP: In order to keep the O-rings well in the assembly, simply apply a little grease in the groove provided.

1x short drive shaft flange Part No.: 02M 409 356 A
1x sealing ring 02M 409 189
This is definitely the best and easiest technique to adapt 6-speed 02M gearbox on 2WD. Another advantage with this kit is that it can uninstalled at any time and 5 speed gearbox can be reinstalled.
