Our products aremanufactured to strict OEM specifications; however, there may be slight issueswith gaps, especially in lighting. Prior vehicle collision damage, vehicleswith prior poor frame alignment have increased chances of an improper fit.Fitment gaps should be no more than 1/3” wide on each side. Professionalinstallation is HIGHLY recommended.
Vehicle FactoryPre-Installed Wiring Issues
Your vehicle maybe equipped with factory pre-installed wiring for fog lights. Most likely, aswitch is not included.If you want to use the existing factoryinstalled wiring, you must go to the dealer and purchase your fog light set fromthem.The switch in the set listed here, is not compatible withfactory pre-installed wiring.If you decide to save tons of moneyand purchase this set, you need to use the harness+switch from this set,by-passing the existing factory wiring.
**CONDENSATION ISSUE**
If fog lights are notinstalled properly, condensation build-up is possible. Condensation indicatesthat your light assembly lacks an airtight seal. Climates with extreme weatherhave an increased chance of condensation build-up. All light installationsare susceptible to condensation if improperly installed. Please make sure allsockets are tightly fastened and all “O” rings or rubber gaskets are in goodcondition. Dry & cracked “O” rings and/or dry & cracked rubber gasketson your factory sockets can let moisture in. If you have moisture buildup inyour lights, please try the following solution: remove your lights from thevehicle and set out in the sun or in a dry area. Wait until the condensationhas fully evaporated, and reseal around the seams with a clear silicone sealanton the assembly and replace any worn “O” rings or rubber gaskets. This shouldalleviate the condensation issue.
