Description
A usedright downpipe (attaches torear exhaust manifold).
This may be an original GM part but I cannot be sure; they are heavier than pattern parts from Walker, etc, and fit better, but without having a new GM one in my hand to compare weights it is difficult to tell.Some pattern pipes are obvious as they are made of a thinner gauge pipe so are lighter and sound tinny when tapped.
Application
Opel Monza, Senator A, Vauxhall Royale coupe and saloon etc 1978-87 also Commodore, Viceroy Six cylinder injection engines only. RHD only.
Chassis D1003807 on. This pipe will fit earlier cars but only as a pair of individual L and R downpipes (prior to this the pipes were joined by a silencer ahead of where they join the the centre box pipes).
Not for left hand drive cars.

Condition
I have carefully examined this pipe and lightly tapped it with a hammer to reveal any rust holes and weak areas. I would say it is in acceptable usable condition bearing in mind the difficulty of finding new pipes now.

Which side is which?
Offside and nearside are confusing to many; the car manufacturers use Left and Right to avoid confusion. L/Hand R/H sides of the carare seen as you sit in it, i.e L/H is passenger/nearside (in UK) and R/H is driver/offside. Vauxhall/Opel partsare often marked R or L to avoid confusion
