These dodge challenger illuminated door sills are custom made by me, a fellow Challenger owner myself. These are made of heavy 14 gauge steel, and the lettering is precision laser cut. Then they are black texture powder coated to match your factory kick panels perfectly which they will insert into. They will tap into your overhead dome lights power wire, so they will automatically come on when you open your doors, and turn off when you shut them. All wiring is hidden when completed. You will have to make a rectangle cut into your plastic factory kick panels for the recessed lighting part to fit into. There is plenty of overlap of the lighted sill panel to cover any imperfections in your cut. I have included an example of this cut in the photos.
