DSM Fuel Feed and filter upgrade Kit for 1990-1999 Eclipse/Talon/Laser This kit will upgrade your fuel system from right before your fuel filter to the inlet side of the fuel rail. Because of the specialized fitting style on the bottom of the stock fuel filter, upgrading the stock filter in the past has not been easy. We now have a kit put together with a specialized fititng that makes it easy to go to an aftermarket filter.
Independent testing has shown these areas on a DSM to be restrictive
1. The fitting at the fuel rail only has a diameter of 5.5mm or .21 inches
2. The banjo fitting at the outlet of the fuel filter is restrictive.
3. The steel fuel line is only 3/16\" ID
4. This kit will convert everything to AN -6 which is equivalent to 3/8\".
5. The stock fuel filter.
The benefits are as follows:
