The ignition lock cylinder is the PASSLOCK type. The keys are NOT electronic in any way, but the lock cylinder has a small magnet in it that interacts with a sensor located inside the outer lock housing.
Installing this lock requires reprogramming of the PASSLOCK system.We can provide a copy of the programming procedure, but the programming is then entirely up to you the customer...we do not provide any troubleshooting technical support. If all aspects of your car's main systems arein good working order, then programming of the PASSLOCK is not usually a problem.
