Before you purchase you need to know if you have a Stop Lamp Relay or not.
Warning this kit will not work on Cougars made before 1/3/1967.

The 1967 Cougar made before 1/3/1967 has astoplamp relaythat is located on the rubber pad in the trunk. So if yousee three parts on the rubber pad then youhave a stop lamp relay and this is the incorrect part. (SequencerFlasher,Stop Lamp Relay, Directional Relay) You will need to purchase a C1) C7WY-13A366-AS (Early model).
If your 1967 Cougar does not have the threeparts then you do not have a stop lamp relay. This is the correct part.
TheEmergency Relayis not one of theparts on the rubber pad. ThisSequential Turn Signal Kitreplaces it.Simply remove the old one and discard it. You will plug in one wire from ourunit into the socket it came out of.
