A quality gasket is the first step. This one is made in the USA and will fit like it should unlike what you would expect from a Chinese import.This gasket fits any BOP 3.8 V6 with a 20 bolt pan. It will not work with earlier engines that have a 14 bolt pan.While the pan is down, a nice new set of stainless steel pan bolts or a pretty sweet magnetic drain plug is never a bad idea!
