One of the nicest rims original condition OEM wheels I have ever come across, almost perfect. No curb rash no nothing ugly bad! Just plain beautiful for a 35 or so year old part!!!I found this in the trunk of a 1988 735i, but I believe it fits more, 525i, 530i, 535i, 540i, 735i 740i, 750i plus??? It appears the wheel will fit 1989 1990 1991 1992 1993 1994 and 1995 models from what I can tell. I can only think that this was a spare, used for a short period of time and perhaps taken off and put back in the trunk. Here's rim info in center of wheel: BMW E20 1179761 F.P.S. 88 KBA with a 4 over top of it, 7Jx15H2
There is one tiny scratch on the face of the wheel, see pics. Otherwise looks brand new. Lug nut holes show where lugs were tightened, but not much! At first I thought this was an unused spare wheel, but tire showed wear... Rear of wheel shows NO brake dust, but does have spike holes from vintage wheel changing machines touching this wheel at least once. (This was done before modern "no touch" wheel machines were around)
Tire info: Conti Touring Contact 225/60R15 tire, used and just starting to show age cracks. Marked: 225/60/R15 96H CH95 Ecoplus M&S 038389 Made in Germany Continental I don't understand tire date codes for Germany....
If you don't want the tire, I will have it removed by a shop with the proper wheel machine....and wrap/box the rim for safe shipping.
