A 3-stage intake manifold consists of two DISA valves that would divert air to the cylinders that needed it. With more air going to the appropriate cylinders and fuel adjustments by the ecu, this valve system helps extract the most power from the N52.
Gain up to 30HP with just a simple upgrade of the intake manifold listed here! With the added benefit of the two DISAs, air is allowed into the intake based on the requirement of power or econ. OVERALL THATS LESS THAN THE FAIR VALUE OF $100 PER HP MARGIN. This kit retails new for over $1400!
This intake manifold is in GREAT condition with typical minor cosmetic flaws. Works as it should, car ran well with said installed intake manifolds and are tested prior to pulling. Free of charge, vanity cover, both DISAs are included, and possibly other sensors but not guaranteed.
DISAs are great for rebuilds or cores, but are typically in usable condition. A rebuild is recommended since the intake manifold is off. The larger DISA is typically the only one that fails, and is recommended for rebuild.
