Rear muffler, or Mercedes calls it a resonator. Removed from a 1996 SL600 with < 45,000 miles on it. Car started and ran well and sounded nice. No significant deterioration other than paint. Note this muffler only fits the Mercedes 600SL and SL600 from 1993 to 1998. Please do not bid on it for any other vehicle.
